Good day my friends,
2018 hunting season is on us and what a way to start. Gary Reeder was one of our very first clients way back in 1992, since then we have become very close friends and he has hunted with us almost every year with a group of like-minded people. Together we have hunted a huge variety of areas and taken numerous SCI number one handgun trophies, at one stage I think he had thirteen African world record animals. Once again he brought out a great group of ten guys and we had an amazing safari. Again we managed to get a number of top-ranking trophies and we look forward to our hunt next year.
Another very family friend was Sam Monarch who also hunted with us many times. Sadly the world lost a great man last year, and he never realized his dream of getting a Vaal Rhebok with his muzzleloader. Vlam’s idea was we do a commemorative “Monarch of the Mountains” hunt and Sam’s wife, Alice, was up to the challenge and willing to make Sam’s dream come true. I know he is proudly looking down on his life partner and her magnificent muzzleloader trophy Vaal Rhebok. Well done Alice!
It is wonderful how we meet different people and how sometimes we just connect in our line of work. David Taunton is one such man, all it took was a short ten days together last year where David took a magnificent 47 ½” buffalo and we all became firm friends. Accompanied by Clayton Reed, a pastor from Dallas we had another sterling safari this year. David took one of the biggest rhino ever taken on an exciting hunt. Now we look forward to the cats next year.
I must thank each and everyone of you who donated to the cause for the two wounded warriors coming out to Africa in July, no matter how small the contribution I speak on behalf of these brave, humble men and thank you. They are still a little short of funds to make this all happen let’s all get together and show them our appreciation for the sacrifices they have made to make America a better place. Simply click on this link below and help make their dreams come true. I look forward to introducing them to you at the shows in January and I know they will thank you all personally. Thank you all so much. I wish you all a great hunting season full of special memories and wonderful experiences.
May God bless you.
